NOTE:
Materials such as PTFE and PEEK may exhibit slight leakage when used with gaseous media, particularly at low pressure. For
applications requiring exceptional tightness, we recommend soft-seal valves where pressure allows. For high-pressure, high-
cycle demands with reliable tightness, a PCTFE-sealed valve from our specialized series is ideal.

CHARACTERISTICS OF SEALING MATERIALS:

  • PEEK - excellent hardness and wear resistance, large number of cyles, imperfect sealing at lower pressure is possible
  • PTFE - very good hardness and wear resistance, medium sealing properties, good price/performance ratio
  • PU - excellent sealing properties, not suitable for high cycling rate, not suitable for liquids
  • FPM - elastomer for use at medium pressure when perfect sealing is required
